Up to 480,000 Miles. Getting close now!

Just wanted to let every one know that I currently hit 480,000 miles in my TSX. Only 20k to go! Maybe there in May or so... To those that have been following along, thanks for your support! I really appreciate it!

Actually, I'd contact Acura when you get close. I'm sure they'd be interested to hear this. Acura might even throw some swag at you

Honestly, that's quite the feat to hit 500k miles. I could see Acura being very interested.

LOL, nice and congrats! You've basically driven to the moon and back.

The average distance to the moon is 238,857 miles, double that it comes out to 477,714.

Definitely contact Acura, they might put you in a commercial.

Be a cool pic to have Tyson's 2G Legend and Josh's 1G TSX together for two half million mile Acura's.

Wow, 480,000 miles! That's incredible!

If I'm not mistaken, that's 480,000 miles on the original transmission and engine, right?

Well, safe travels, and I hope you make it to 500k.

SHHH you shut your mouth! If OP tells Acura, they might realize they're making cars too reliable and we'll end up driving BMW-esque cars that break after 100K

The roof

All joking aside, if it werent for the hand full of (ok i guess there is a little joking there) modifications ive done to the car, a vast majority of it is or still would be other than the shocks, all the rear suspension is still original, fronts is other than the upper control arms which are easier and cheaper to replace than to just get new ball joints for. Calipers are original (fronts) Trans on the other hand, well that is what started it all. I blame the trans.

Don't worry. This is definitely a fluke and they know it. If anything, Acura's engineers would probably like to check it out to see what actually went right in this car.

Good seeing you this weekend! Looking forward to what's in store. And I still can't get over how smoothly that TSX handles! It's like a new car.

I just realized that is the same Lengend from the Redline Reviews YouTube channel...

I watched that video Oma few months ago, I hadn't realized that's the one Sofyan drove...

Great job with the TSX...

I saw a 2003-4, I believe 04, now I can't find the picture, but it was a 5 speed sedan base model in graphite pearl, dark gray... It was parked at the front door of Royal Honda in Metairie, I haven't seen anything online about it, I'm not sure if Honda owns it and parks it at various dealers or not, but it had 650,000 miles on it around November 2014, I have a picture, somewhere...

Really surprised with the TSX being auto...

The Accord, or course, was a manual...
