Undercover 350Z
This is what's waiting for you all in Virginia. Someone from dragva spotted this getting serviced at a Nissan delership.
With the TRIPLE fines recently instated in VA... think $700 speeding and $2500 wreckless... this car is gonna make a lot of people unhappy. So pretty much don't speed in VA

Lightbars, stickers for the side that say police, everything
When I was young I ordered a bunch of fire department stuff from them and it was the coolest ever cause it was all pretty legit.
Using those lights however is really illegal, and I'm pretty positive this one is a real cop car. I wonder how many people would just keep going thinking it was just some guy messing with them.

I had them for legit reasons. Now I don't have those reasons, so off the car they are.
Any pics of the inside? There should be some kind of switch setup, & even a siren panel.
Any serious undercover car would have many more lights, cause a dual light on the front & the back is just not enough warning power even with LED's. Or no lights at all. Just the cop with a radio.
If it is, I don't think it would be used for pursuit duties. Maybe as backup, or street patrol.
The FL troopers use unmarked new Mustangs. When those lights are on you WILL see them. Lights up a parking lot there's so many lights. And they are totally hidden.

on to the next one...
Just because a car is outfitted with lights does not mean it is for patrolling use by your local PD or State Troopers...
There is some Gov't agency located down the road from my office, and they all have uncommon cars that are tinted up and have a ton of lights on them. Once a month or so, I'll see a caravan of them go flying down my road w/ lights and sirens on...
Also, I've seen a couple of different FBI cars that you wouldn't suspect, but were fully equip as well. And I can promise you, a fed isn't going to pull you over for speeding...
Or, maybe it was just some douche who wanted the lights on there for no particular reason.
My point is...Don't get bent out of shape until you see the Z pulling someone over...

It's bad enough that the cops here are allowed to disguise their speed traps, but now they're probably going to go out and try to goad people into speeding to tag them...

it's hardly unlikely the VA PD would choose a 350Z as an undercover car, all cop cars are special edition with better tuned engines and nissan never did this before and it is unlike they would for the VAPD.

Yeah maybe
I doubt it's FBI, both my parents are fbi and I've seen plenty of their crown vics, caprices, malibus, intrepids, but nothing other than the usual for police cars. I guess it could be something else, and probably is seeing that it's not American.
If i see it though, I definitely won't be speeding too much

but I'm sure it was no cop, or anything for that matter

yeap, the use to run a tricky street racing bust out here. The cops would drive a souped up little import and when they met up he'd line up to race against the guy. The guy he was racing against would be let go and everyone else there would be busted for spectating.

Meh, Yonkers cops have been on a blitz taking all the street racers cars over the last 5 years. A few years back they started using the impounded vehicles as unmarked vehicles.

But the thing is, they have to put a big blue light on the top of the car, which I think they have to keep lit while on duty. So it is kind of easy to notice a big blue light especially at night. *knock on wood*

The LEDs don't necessarily indicate the car runs radar. It needs to be equipped with the radar and electronics in order to issue speeding tickets.
