The SE-R is a nice car, but CL-S+$6k sounds much nicer. And I agree with the above, no payments is awesome.

So... timeslips?

Thanks Aman,

I'm loving this no payment thing .. as a matter of fact I just booked airfare to Nicaragua .

I haven't hit the track in some time, but the car will have to be built up before I start beating on it. I'm not sure how much longer the clutch will hold on, but I haven't gotten it to slip yet.

Also, to CL-S6 owners:

What is the rev limit set to in this car?

My eyes were wide open when I saw the tach go over 7000, didn't want to push it too much further.

Nice clean pick up! I'm a bit late. I think that stance is perfect personally, just a little rake

why not?
most cars have a fuel cutoff when reaching redline on upshifts.

She looks really good for the age and mileage and hopefully she will treat for well for many more miles! Always looked the manual CL-S

Thanks! I plan on keeping this car longer than 9 months .

Check your thread, I want to see more pics of that ST!

Thanks! The PO took really good care of this car and it shows. I was underneath it and there wasn't a single clip missing, leak, scrapes, nothing bent ... just a bit dirty after being on the road for 10 years. Couldn't be happier.

On a side note: After lowering my car, it has developed a slight wobble under hard acceleration. Regular coasting on the highway and city speeds, the car behaves as it normally would.

I'm going to put a bet on axles .. is there any way to test this?

Replace them?

Car looks good! A little too low for my tastes, but that may change if you get new wheels/tires

So much for no payment...

CL-S=sex. 6MT=even better and no tranny issues!

I still love those cars and it's been over eleven years since I first laid eyes on one.

Good choice, man!

Raised the car 3/8 of an inch and the wheel wobble has pretty much disappeared, axles are getting tired.

Here are some pics with the new drop w/ my Sony 5N w/ a 16mm 2.8.

Enjoy:

I stand corrected. Thank you once again, AZ!

I remember the five-spoke TL-S wheels I bought for my 2G TL back in the day.

Mods, can you change the thread title to: "Tyler's CL-S6 - He'll try not to crash this one"?

Don't jinx yourself!

Car looks better raised and I like the interior shot. It looks in fantastic shape for its year! You really got a nice example.

Now clean your windshield.
