Tesla? You mean Kenmore?
Fuck that...not yet. One day, but not yet.
Now git off my lawn.
Tim, I'm with you...my Dad told me that when I had the Caddy...
he's like know what's cooler than driving like a dick? Knowing that
you can and not doing it. Having all that power and just smoothly
driving around like a gentleman.

So, ttribe will instead, tailgate you and then zip in out of traffic and drive on the shoulder because...well, gotta live up to the BMW badge.
Or something like that.

Joking aside, I rarely know anyone at this point (maybe because I'm old) that has a car with megapower that drives like a dick. Next door neighbor has a 911 Turbo S and he drives very "tame". Accelerates quickly to the speed limit maybe is the most he does.

Albeit, we do tend to turn on the taps when the road is wide-open...generally no traffic (i.e. late in the evening and/or early on a weekend morning)...Which seems like what Herr T does anyways when he goes for a "driveabout".

Made a quick run out to Tortilla Flat yesterday morning to see how the M5 did on the tight twisties; timing was fortuitous as they closed the road down a few hours later...someone lit the desert on fire.

^ The "driveabout".
Must've had a wide smile as you were navigating those twisties.

I did. The M5 stays extremely flat with the suspension in Sport Plus. I still think the E93 is better suited for these really narrow and tight twisties in terms of the fun factor; the M5 is an awfully big car.

Picked up a Turner fender cover on sale for when I'm doing service on the cars under the hood.

The closest for fun drives for me are the Rockies. That's when I get "driveabouts" like T here. Otherwise, putzing around the city often is not great...mostly just straight roads.

Those pedals look awesome. Do they make a matching dead pedal?

So, my work schedule took me to the beautiful city of Austin, TX. I just got back from a night on the town with @Majofo who showed me a good time...I'll just say it involved a LARGE portion of smoked meat...read into that what you will. Chalk up meeting another e-friend IRL!

It's true
T and I finally got to meat
We got sideways in my V
He sucked the meat off my bone
I gobbled his huge sausage
You missed out Kurt, whore
We even patrolled the corners for you
And checked the alley behind OCH

Austin's a good time, lived there for 2 years.
Love to visit now, but the abhorrent traffic situation keeps it the visit-only column for me, usually Oct/Nov for F1.
