No B&O or no Sport Diff...wtf dude, you're nearing 60K anyway...load that bitch up!

I presume all weather mats are on order? I used to think it cheapens the interior but now when I see carpeting
I just see sand granules and smelly coffee stains sitting on the floor.
Living where I do, I've never done all weather mats because of the lack of rain, etc. I'll have to think about it.

I kid, Dr. Tribe and I meet regularly to kvetch about getting old.

I temper my distress with bourbon. He apparently does it with German auto parts.

I'm merely an amature compared to you when it comes to kvetching. I may bear the mark of the tribe, but you carry the bloodline.

Yeah, my anecdotal observation is they had been hanging pretty steady in the high 40s and low 50s, but I think the new F90 hitting the market probably hit the values pretty hard.

Well, if it matters, he and I already have a lunch scheduled for the 19th and I offered to let him take the M5 for a drive.

Hey, ummm, @Midnight Mystery , if you're going to call a sedan a "dream car", this is what it looks like.

I mean it is the ultimate driving machine...
and no, I would imagine even the Caddy would have had a hard time keeping up.

What I would do is launch the S4 with the AWD and when I hit like 20mph and Tim caught traction I'd slam on the brakes and put on my hazard lights to celebrate my win.

Off google search, close but looking like he'd have time to run a quarter then go do his taxes and order a frap at Starbucks before I crossed the line.

  • Dec 22, 2014 - Tell me if this makes any sense: The 2014 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon you ... Still, 12.3 seconds in the quarter mile is an excellent time for any car .
  • Sep 19, 2012 - The owner of a stock BMW M5 (F10) decided to take his hot sedan to the local drag strip the other day. He completed the initial run in 11.92 ...
  • They may not be all new, but the 2013 Audi S4 Sedan and S5 Coupe have been ... We hit 106 miles-per-hour in the quarter-mile, and did so in 13.2-seconds.

- '76 Datsun pickup
- '91 Acura Integra LS-SE
- '87 Honda Accord LX
- '96 Honda Accord LX
- '00 Honda Accord SE
- '03 Honda Pilot EX-L
- '06 Acura TL

There was a bit of a theme. And then I wanted more performance. I test drove Audi, Lexus and BMW. The BMWs were eye-opening. All of a sudden a light went on and it clicked. Now, I know the brand, I know what to expect and they keep making a lot of things I like (and a lot I don't). For me, they just seem to get the mix right.
We all know that feeling. You dont know it until you own it for a while... similar to S2000, not the car themselves, obviously.
