Sooo.. how does it feel mang??? does it quench your thirst?? is it satisfying to drive???
How do you compare it to your e60? What about the 335, which one do you prefer?

As to the E60 - the F10 is better sorted, has better torque, is more comfortable and the transmission is light years ahead of the SMGIII. But the E60's V10 still can't be beat in terms of a linear torque curve and noise. As to the E93 - they just are such different cars that it's hard to compare. I'm keeping them both to fill very different roles. I still love the E93 and as I was driving the M5 home yesterday from the dealership and caught sight of my E93 on the freeway with its top down and my oldest son behind the wheel, I realized just how cool that car is. I'm very fortunate to have them both.

I'm just gonna say it - it is hard not to like someone like you T. Very enjoyable to see you get something you wanted and enjoying it.

I agree with you, in some ways the styling on your 335 is more discernible. I feel like the entire M lineup now almost looks alike...not that that's a bad thing.
Curious why you're so into BMW? Just one of those things? Like me with Honda, I guess. Well, I guess you wouldn't know it but Honda is my brand.

- '76 Datsun pickup
- '91 Acura Integra LS-SE
- '87 Honda Accord LX
- '96 Honda Accord LX
- '00 Honda Accord SE
- '03 Honda Pilot EX-L
- '06 Acura TL
There was a bit of a theme. And then I wanted more performance. I test drove Audi, Lexus and BMW. The BMWs were eye-opening. All of a sudden a light went on and it clicked. Now, I know the brand, I know what to expect and they keep making a lot of things I like (and a lot I don't). For me, they just seem to get the mix right.

Look. Some of us are already living vicariously through the M5. May as well continue that by modding it.

You misread that!. That's the check engine light followed by limp mode. ask saintor
Seriously though, yeah...you're a Honda guy too. Sooooo...we are pretty similar then. I like the reliability of Honda and believe in their products.
I drove my buddy's S5 and felt that same light come on for me (Audi, DEF a CEL )...something about the way it drives and how it goes together
feels like love to me. It's not about what people think (pretty clearly, or I'd still have my CTS-V...I got a lot of brodown high fives for that one)...it's about
what I THINK.
In all fairness, I never really have given M a chance, never even really driven one. 3 years ago I basically had my S2000 sold for a CSL replica'd Laguna Blue
E46 M3...got as far as getting it on a lift and shaking hands and the deal took a shit when I drove it on the way to the bank with the seller...that was the first
time he let me rip it a little and it was obvious there was something majorly wrong with it. You... @EL BAN going from hardcore Honda to all BMW is
intriguing to me though. I wouldn't be surprised if I gave one a shot down the line. When I bought my first S2000, the silver one...a high school buddy of mine
was selling his black M3 manual with staggered Racing Dynamic wheels...he had put like 10K into the car maintaining it (engineer)...he told me that it spent
as much time on the road as it did on jack stands and he told me he didn't want to sell it to me. He sold it to some kid that totaled it in a month though.
Now that I think about it...the original S5 buddy ended up getting a 911 for a while and recently traded on a Comp M3 with dual clutch...
Anyway...sorry, let me thoughts trail off.
I don't think this chassis code has that issue.

So, as it turns out, there are two options the M5 doesn't have: 1) CF roof; and 2), night vision. I think I'll live through the disappointment (although, both would have been badass).

Dude, when the OG buyer ordered the car and spent oodles...
don't you think they would be like I am when I order a sub and figure I'll get my money's worth with toppings?
PUT IT ALL IN THERE!
No B&O or no Sport Diff...wtf dude, you're nearing 60K anyway...load that bitch up!
I presume all weather mats are on order? I used to think it cheapens the interior but now when I see carpeting
I just see sand granules and smelly coffee stains sitting on the floor.
