Oh, I definitely got to enjoy it. I've said before, I would have kept it forever if I'd had the money to keep it up. It was a great deal of fun to drive. Mine wasn't anything like the one in the video. It's just that it did require a lot more maintenance than any other car I've owned and when it broke, it tended to break big.

The 2003 Honda Pilot Family Truckster has 204k miles on it and was dying. Replaced it over the weekend with this:

So, today I met up with a long-time friend of mine for lunch. He's very much a hard-core car guy. He's a also a long-time Porsche-phile; he's had a very custom 914 (with a 911 engine) in his stable for many years. Today, he rolls up to lunch in this flawless '89 964 with dozens of subtle but wonderful custom touches. Absolutely fantastic car.

Absolutely beautiful! I've loved white Porsches ever since I had a "Jazz" transformer as a kid. Just so clean and classic.

The picture doesn't really show it, but this one is actually in a color called "Dolphin Grey".

Oh wow now that I went back and looked closer yeah I can see that. I don't think I've ever seen that color before.

I'm not exaggerating when I say it is an incredibly unique and well-done classic 911. It's not my story to tell, so I won't go into detail, but this car quite literally landed in his lap after he had seen it in a garage in his neighborhood for YEARS.

Is he ever gonna come tell us this story?

How do you keep your headlight from Oxidizing, especially in AZ?

Occasionally, use an off-the-shelf headlight polishing kit.

Ic... i have tried many off the shelf ones or even sanding... none of them worked... it worked but the fade always came back after a while.

Does your car get left outside a lot? My car is always garaged at home and at work; I'm sure that has a lot to do with it.
