If you say so. I have provided many cars in his range of what he is looking for other than the IS-F. Sorry that it is my opinion that that model design of the S6 is bland. The new S4 and RS4 and new S6 are extremely sexy but not in the OP price range.

Did it!

Hopped a flight to Ontario yesterday morning, cabbed it to the dealership, spent a couple of hours going over the thing, bought it and drove it back to Phoenix.

I got the car for $36,888 (they paid $36,910 at auction for it) with 39K miles. Car is incredible. Will post up some pictures once I've got them. I need to do some catching up at work today though.

Congrats man.

So much for taking it slow I take it the family issue worked itself out rather quickly then. Bet it was a black making that trip home.

Yeah...the taking it slow thing. This just ended up being a deal I couldn't pass up and I was able to convince my wife of our security on the financial side. She's not thrilled (a little apprehensive would be a better descriptor), but she's a very supportive spouse. I couldn't as for better. Heck, how many spouses buy their husband a full set of Stoptech rotors for their B-Day?

Wife is a good one for sure then. Enjoy the car can't wait to see pictures of it. Do you have any plans for any mods to it? There are some exhausts that make it sound like a super car. I highly recommend getting one

Yeah, that's what happens to car when you immediately drive it 300+ miles across the desert. I have some clean up work to do. But, I gotta say, it's REALLY fast!
