If one could get a TL with SH-AWD for about 45 CAD in a year or so, then I think this would really turn into quite a contest.

The TL with SH-AWD would walk all over the LGT especially at $45K. Unfortunately it would probably be priced in the low to mid 50's if it existed.

Problem is, a TL with Navi is 45K. A TL with SH-AWD will probly be $50k. Aparently, the TSX with Navi is 39K.

You might be able to get SH-AWD without the navi. The navi package is a CAD $3,300 option, so maybe $47-48K? At that price, a Legacy GT would slot in between a TSX and TL spec and price-wise, though its fit and finish would still lag Acura.

I do not drag race on the street now, so why would I do it when I have my child in the car? You need to worry about yourself and your kid(s) (if you have any) and stop trying to judge other people who you don't know.
I think Blackjack is just saying that if you're a parent there's no need for you to be worrying so much about the speed of a car over safety, comfort, and reliability. I tend to think if you're driving a faster car, you'll drive faster with it. You won't literally "drag-race" but speed shouldn't be an option.

Man who sold my uncle this house in LI sold his M3 for a more family car (Cayenne T )

I can respect your comment, but Blackjack's comment was outright disrespectful. If you read his comment and then read yours, you can see the difference.

BTW: I know that people will drive faster if they have a fast car (it is human nature), but that doesn't mean that I lack the common sense to drive carefully with my baby in the car.

But seriously, I dont think we can compare and LGT to an SRT. The SRT is just too dam fast. Maybe a regular neon would be better.

I looked hard at the LGT and put $$ down for it. However, in Canada it's only $1000 less than the Dyn Package TL. And if you lease, the TL and G35 are cheaper cuz of higher residuals on these two. In the USA the LGT is a bit lower in $ than the TL so I didn't want to pay the premium here. I have not seen many on the road. 2 in the Houston area, and 1 in Calgary.
