The trancemission/Shoofin Elise thread
It was only a matter of time. Its an 05 with 4580 miles on it. Probably a few more since it was delivered to my work and I drove it to the house.
I cant even begin to describe how I feel at this moment. It will take a while for this to sink in.
Im sorry about the pics. I took them with my phone. Ill post up some better ones this weekend.

Awesome. I love it in black, and the tan interior is a great contrast.

Congratulations!! Must.Resist.Temptation. I was looking at an Exige S a while back when I was shopping for my Z06 and nearly pulled the trigger. Enjoy her in the best of health!
I just noticed you were in Texas, you can drive it with the top down anytime you feel like it!

love Elises. I love the BRG color too. I've always kinda considered them to be the real spiritual successor to the MR2, being that it has the heart of a Toyota, down to the transmission too

What are these going for? Used? There's a guy here that owns one. Living where the speed limit is 80 km/h, so kind of pointless.

That car is also in TX...I didn't run Autocheck on it, but the dealer did disclose the car to having paint work on it, just not sure where. That bothers me a little, but it all depends on where the paint work was done..
Either way I'm jealous...your car is HOT. I like it better than the BRG, FWIW...

Awesome car I almost picked one up when I got my S2000 but the practical side got the best of me and I never forgave myself for that I've driven a TON of cars and the Elise sticks out like a sore thumb as being one of the best, if not the best, drivers car I've ever driven. I would like to pick one up in a few years, they are so unlike any other car out there and in all of the right ways, factor in the price on the used market and they are deal of the decade.

AWESOME!!!
I LOVE these cars. Have had my eye on them for a few years now... but something else keeps coming up. At first my wife was against it b/c they were so small... but now that we've seen them at the local Cars & Coffee a few times, she is really starting to like them. In fact, last time we were there she looked at me and said "This would be really cool for a weekend trip to Asheville on the Blue Ridge". Think I got her in my corner finally!
My only real concern is having service work done. Next time I'm at C&C I'll have to talk to one of the owners to find out where they get work done on it as their are no Lotus dealers in Charlotte (closest is Raleigh area which is like 3 hours away)...
Anyway, sweet grab. Looking forward to more pics!!
