Its email ordered bride these days.

First time i took my nephew in my car (A4 at the time)i was the same way. I stayed in the right lane barely going the speed limit. My eyes kept checking all the mirrors around me making sure no cars were close. Couldnt imagine what it feels like driving your own kid around for the first time. Yikes.

I will casually keep an eye out on slightly used SUVs now that price of gas is going up. Maybe find a good deal on something. More demand on the Mazda3 for the same reason is my guess.

Only downside i see doing this would be having two cars that are gas hogs.

the 3 should be fine. Its not like the baby needs legroom. I'm sure it can fit a car seat. And the stoller should fit in the trunk? I dunno how big strollers are these days.

What about those small SUV's?

CRV, Rav4, Tiguan,

New focus hatch? Or upgrade to the new 3 hatch.

Thought so.

I realized today - I have a friend who drove a new VW Beetle with her first child until he was almost 2 years old!! Now *that* - I don't know how she did. Doing the infant bucket seat and then a convertible seat in the back, still rear-facing....having to reach into a very small coupe to get him buckled while still facing backwards...ugh. She said the stroller took up the entire trunk, and just barely fit. When she had her second child, she finally up-sized to a 2007 Honda Accord sedan.

You should check out the Subaru Outback 3.6! Sit higher up than a typical sedan, but have the versatility of a hatch (although the cargo space isn't huge). LOVED driving the car!!

If anything though...makes more sense to invest you money over the next year AND pay off your current car before taking out a second loan...I mean, if you talk about wanting to get finances in order before baby. Better to have one car completely paid off and only paying a small loan on a 'new' car than having two loans at the same time - one being a car you don't even need yet....

Thought so, what?

I just agreed that selling the mazda while theres a demand for it is a good idea. Doesnt mean im doing it right away.

Gas prices wont be falling anytime soon so there plenty of time.

Tiguan is too expensive for what you get. IMO

I am curious what the 2012 CRV will look like in the next few months.

Mazda3 has more rear leg room than that useless thing.
