Trade 01 CL-S for a 02 WRX?
What do you guys think? My 01 has the mods as listed with 74K miles. The wrx is white with an exhaust and 84K miles. Just trying to get some feedback. Thanks

Well... your tranny warranty goes bye-bye in 26K miles, but that could mean another 2 years depending on how much you drive.
With that said, I think WRX's are (much) uglier than a CL-S, not to mention you're gonna be really dissapointed by 3rd and 4th gear performance.
These cars have high drivetrain losses due to the AWD. 1st gear feels fast, 2nd gear feels good and then 3rd gear feels... well it doesn't actully feel like anything.
It's just my opinion, but I would hate owning a WRX, even an STi. I don't care if the STi has 300hp, in 3rd and 4th gear, it's still slow!

Ive never really like the WRX but here lately ive really really liked them..Ive also had a little trouble with the law lately and i think that it would put my parents at ease with the less horse power. Although it is turbo'd it would be dad and my little secret

Make sure it isn't beat up, and especially since you're buying a Subaru in its first model year with over 80k miles on it it had to be raced or something of that sort. I'm going to say don't do it and look for something a little better. Hell, throw in a couple of thousand and get something with lower miles on it. You still have time with your warranty on the CL-S, don't worry.

I love the bug eyes; I would say do it because of the impending doom when your car hits 100,000 miles; I heard the transmissions on the Rex's weren't all that they're cracked up to be either...
If me though I don't think I would; I like the class/sportiness mixture that the CL offers; something that the WRX does not offer (but does return tenfold in fun factor)
Final verdict: On the fence; but would do it to avoid impending transmission jouklhaups

Actually, if you are going to do a WRX, the earlier models are better-looking (IMHO) than the new ones. Just imagine... they are now sharing the same face-mask *shudder* more or less with the Tribeca!
