Anyone deal with them recently? I did a quick search and noticed some ppl have had bad experiences. I just called them to make an appointment for an oil change. The guy I talked to just sounded shady and unprofessional. I was giving them my info and he asked for the VIN, I didn't have it on me and he gave me attitude. "But I need it now, it will makes things process better, you'll need to bring it in." I just told him he can easily pull it from the car even if I didn't bring it in..... moron.

Anyways, I'm in Toronto now for Christmas and figured I can do a quick oil change while I'm here. I just called them back and cancelled my appointment, not even a question as to why I'm cancelling or if we can re-schedule. I think I'll just wait until I get back to Chicago, but I would love to do it here since I have some free time. Any other recommendations on some good dealerships?

 

I think Terrace Gate is in Scarborough (aka 'Scar-lem') ... not in the greatest areas on GTA (greater Toronto area). And yes -- bad reputation with customer service. Personally, I would recommend either downtown Acura (Hemants like that place) or Woodbine Acura (very mod friendly -- I got most of my mods installed there). Otherwise ... I don't know much else of the other dealerships in Toronto.

Never dealt with them. Never had any problems at Acura 2000 (Brampton, West end) and like Derrick said Woodbine is usually good and have been the couple of times I've been there.

That would be cool if I can get out of this family stuff. lol! Today I endured 3 hours of watching old family vacation videos and a converted 8mm film from a trip to Niagara falls from the early 80s. Anybody else from Toronto want to meet up for a drink/lunch on the 27th/38th?

 

lol! Wife's family lives in Scarborough, they've been here since the 70's or so... their area seems pretty decent.... but I agree, alot of shady areas I've seen from driving around.
