Tony Stark switches to an Acura for the Avengers!
Check out this new Acura convertible Tony Stark uses for the upcoming Avengers movie. Looks sweet to me. The saved image has the name tumblr on them, but I hope that's not the actual name.

i love Acura, but that car is ugly as FUCK
they really couldve done a better design for a big screen motion picture like the avengers.

The headlights would probably be where the shield stretches out. It is weird to not see actual headlights though. Stupid idea to do this and not actually produce a sports car. i think it just pisses off the acura enthusiasts

yeah and this is a big slap in our face. The fact that people have been demanding an nsx or something similar (s2k at least) and we get a zdx. Then they make this and tell us its only for a fantasy world

I see your argument based on the design features, however, if you take the time to read into the story Autoblog posted, Acura spokesperson Gary Robinson, stated it was a one-off production for the film. Information is knowledge friend!

they can say whatever they want it could be one-off production model of body but everything under could be R8... unless we dont have under the hood pics we can only argue about it... the true is when i first time saw this picture i though about R8 and you never know

Bottom line is they took a R8, stripped the body off it and put some ridiculous Japanese body on it and an Acura badge. Since Acura signed the exclusive marketing for the SuperFriendsLeagueofJusticeHall movies they couldn't put the R8 in it ... Hence the one-off body IMO.

Personally not a fan of the styling, but my guess is that it's probably a very concept level vehicle.
I'm expecting most of the lower portion of the front and rear fascias to be modified for production if this car does make it to production as the next NSX successor.
