Wonder if the GT350s will be a year behind on the body style change, similar to the Raptor, which is still in the 15-17 body style for 2018.

Let me ask him. He actually has several mods on his car. It sounds REALLY loud when opened up.

This is what I've read as well.

A few small updates recently done:

JLT Rock Blockers
Shelby vinyl front splitter lettering
15% tints all around

Just Ordered:
Steeda clutch spring
GT350 Lloyd mats

Future mods:
Thinking of deleting the resonators and either going with the Ford Performance SS X-Pipe, which is what the GT350R comes with from the factory. Or maybe going with the Corsa Double Helix X-Pipe. It sounds great as is, so maybe I'm just itching to do something...anything. But I'll let it play out a while before deciding.

Also, looking into paint protection film. My local tint shop uses Ventureshield, which I believe is a 3M product. I've also heard good things about XPEL and SunTek. Anyone have any experience with any of these? It definitely isn't cheap though!

So far I've been averaging about 11 mpg mainly just local driving. Still haven't received my PA plates yet. Probably get personalized plates eventually for a cool $80

  • Car looks fantastic. Thanks for the interior pictures.
  • Any rear seat pictures showing the baby seat and how much room between that seat and the front seats?
  • What does the Steeda Springs do?
  • Is a govt agency surveiling you? Whats with all the White vans across the street?
  • I would go with the Ford Performance Exhaust. The GT350R sounds wicked.
  • I have Xpel on 3 cars, and 3M on others, and Starshield on one. Hands down, in my experience, the XPel has been the best, and locally from what I have found over the years, its worth every penny. I have been using the same installer for about 10 years, and given the volume of work, have gotten a decent discount from him.

XPel is what I saw near 100% using when I was heavily looking into the ND Miata (for those that were adding some form of PPF).

Thanks man!

yeah my neighbor is a subcontractor for different cable companies...he makes a lot of $$$ apparently. They won't be there much longer since they're having a big ass house built out in the country. They're really nice people, the downside is he parks his utility vans/trucks in front of his house...which is not directly in front of our house anyway, but still an eye sore. And to make matters worse, the neighbor next to them (and across the street from me), their son parks his HVAC van across the street in front of my house. But my neighbors are all really nice people, so I don't mind it...even if it is annoying. And it doesn't make me feel so bad when I start up my car at 6:15 am either We're hoping to move into something bigger anyways in like 5 years....so it's only a temporary issue.

The stock spring in the GT350 has a helper spring, which makes it easier to depress the clutch and hold it down, but not throughout the entire pedal stroke. When I first started driving it, I just couldn't get used to it and thought it was just me since it's been so long since I drove a manual. However, after doing some reading, it seems pretty much everyone who owns the newer Mustangs switches them out. The stock spring begins to help at the midway point, which is good in stop and go traffic, but makes the clutch resistance inconsistent. It's hard to articulate unless you feel it. It was like $17...so I figured I'd give it a go and see if it improves the feel of the clutch.

I'll have to call around and get some quotes. Looks like the closest XPEL installer for me is a mobile service...which would be convenient.
