thoughts on my 2001 Loaner TL

well I finally am driving a TL , I have always wanted to see how they were compared to the CL-S ( I am getting rails in the sunroof replaced due to horrible noise).

thoughts on 2001 TL:
-steering is a lot muchier
-brakes are a lot muchier too.
-transmission seems smoother and the wood shiftknob is nice ( not as nice as type S)
-a whole lot of ratteling from the dash .
-Seats are no where near as comfortable

Dont mean to offend any TL owners , it is still a very nice car and if I had not gotten the CL-s I would have gotten the TL. Just my thoughts on it and felt I would share them . For those people that have driven them can you tell me if you think the transmission seems smoother, especially in sport shift. I called my acura dealership and am havig them inspect mine, just in case. Just wondering

Oh.. you meant something like "mushier", for lack of a better word.

Well, it's not like the Type-S on purpose. It's meant to be softer, more like a luxury sedan. I'll bet if you compared the '02 TL-S, there wouldn't be much difference.

You got a TL for a loaner? I got a Buick Century... Is that fair?

I got a 2001 TL loaner car yesterday so that they could fix some paint on the inside lip of the gas chamber and i have to agree about the brakes and steering. I didn't feel safe in the TL. Needless to say, i'm happy that i got the CL-S instead of the TL-S. TL-S isn't that much different than our cars.
