Those With OnStar On '03 Or Older Vehicles
At the end of the year, GM is shutting down analog OnStar service and our OnStar feature will be worthless (hey I already think it's worthless thats why I don't use it but whatever). Popular Science was nice enough to post this article showing how you can take your OnStar GPS and turn it into a navigation system for your PC. Not a bad idea (then again you can purchase USB GPS' for less then $35.

yea, I was kinda of annoyed at this whole thing. Not happy with Onstar pretty much leaving their older customers high and dry, and upset with Acura for not helping the situation (as far I know).
Don't matter anyway, next car is probably going to be a non-acura anyway.

I personally think OnStar is a joke if you have a cell phone. They claim it can work where a cell phone can't but that's totally false. They have to have a cell phone signal too for it to work. Their only advantage is that they can have a longer antenna (in analog applications) but with the new digital setup there is no advantage over a good quality cell phone.
