ok.. I've read through about 4-5 thorough reviews of the '04+ S2k and not one of them has mentioned anything about changes to clutch assembly/operation. Was it something that was discovered later by the owner-base? Can you link me to any related info? I searched briefly and unsuccessfully on S2ki for related information. I did find this great rundown of all the changes:

ok so - Skyline style eh. I thought my mind was playing tricks on me when I thought the brakelights weren't LED. Thanks for the confirmation.

I am taking a guess here, but there are quite a few people on S2ki that have fried clutches in the 10k mi range with constant hard driving and I am guessing the delay valve was Honda's answer to people frying clutches.

Just my $.02.
Actually I think is has more to do with people breaking the rear end. And for whoever is swaying away from 04+ because if the delay valve. You can either remove it or get a a pre 04 clutch cylinder.

In looking at many S2000's I've noticed that on certain ones with a red interior, the seats, part of the door panels are red, and the dash is black.

Yet on others, the seats, entire door panel, AND the dash are red. Was this an option - i.e. have the entire interior, including the dash in one color?

I believe in 2004 the red dash went away.

My 2005 has the black dash with the two-tone seats and doors.

yeah, but how come in certain pre 04 S2000's with red interiors have a black dash, and some have an all red dash. Was the all-red dash an option?

00 and 01 red interior had black dash. 02 and 03 red interior had red dash. no option thereof.

If I remeber correctly, 02 was the only year that you could get all red interior-i.e. red dash. Other than that, it was two tone.
