Test drove a C32 AMG..at a dilemma

OK, im getting my car within a few months, went to my dealer to check out there inventory, well, the jag is there, and so was a pimp AMG and 350Z....test drove them all..and the AMG is fucking sick...349 HP...holy shit this thing got up..the 350 was also sick...i cant describe going from my CL to these cars

so, the jag im getting is right around 30k, the AMG is gonna be 41k, (the price on web is without the hookup), so...should i wait an extra month or 2 to pick up an AMG(even if this is sold, they have a few more), or switch to the 350z...or still continue with the jag, its either sport/luxury sport or pure luxury

so..my question...what would yall pick?

http://www.ebizautos.com/gonzabaauto...cfm?iid=519797 AMG

http://www.ebizautos.com/gonzabaauto...cfm?iid=312021 350Z

the jag is not listed, but here is a similiar one...its an Stype w/ navi fully loaded basically but with the 4.0

Get the Benz bro. It has a nice mix of luxury, speed, solidness, and safety.

If you can get the money for the C32 then I highly recommend it.

Granted it is a "baby benz"

That navi makes the interior look awesome
It still has a smooth and quiet ride
It's really sweet looking
and as you stated that thing is so powerful (Similar to the XJR)
One of the quickest sedans especially all the way through the speedo.

I would take a C32 over an s-type (If I could stretch the extra bucks) anyday

The only thing to realize is how small the C32 is in the back (not sure if that was an original issue)

so it looks like i should be patient and get the AMG..granted im approved for about 35k..id only need a few gs down...and yes..it is small in the back..but not many people will be back there...pulling off the lot i gased it and fishtailed like crazy..its insane how much the V6 put down..and i love the "turning heads" effect of the Z....this is a hard choice....but the jag still has the big elegance about it which is still kinda the category im looking for....damn i wish i could afford them all....

Man, for me, the Jag and AMG are worlds apart from the Z. Yeah, the Z is a nice car, but it is geared to being a performance car only. The other two are luxury autos with performance infused in them. Go look at the Jag Type R if you are looking at the AMG.

Fo me though, I absolutley love the Jag. Like I said before man, the Jag is simply a beautifull car. I loved the one we had. The AMG is cool, but I would take the Jag Type R over any of those.

Save a little bit more, and get the Jag Type R so that we can take that on the rally!!!

If you can swing it get the AMG.

Got to ride in one at the Benz event and then was able to drive one on the outside and man o man that sucker is a rocket.

When I rode in the car i was riding in the back and like PGA said, its really cramped back there. I have a feeling that’s not gonna be a concern for you so that might be a mute point.

Styling wise the interior is nicely laid out and doesn't feel cheap at all. Outside, especially in black the car looks small, but it also looks aggressive.

It has two doors too many but other then that I’d pick it over the other two for sure. Especially cuz for me the Z/G is a tight fit.

Get the AMG.

At 19, save yourself the trouble and get the Z. The Benz, even though it is a performance model, still screams old person.

damn the AMG is like 50k! Lilo, if i was looking to spend that kinda cash on a Benz, i'd look for a 2001, 02 model year S-Class. Way more pimp, and a 'big body'. throw some 21's on it, and be done. Imagine the difference....rolling up in a C-Class....(even though it is AMG) or an S-Class...with rims....and you're only 19.....uber pimp.

i can get it for 41..which is only about 5k away from what im approved for..so id put the 5 down..and they have an S-class to..but its a boat like the jag! but i do love big rims...but the get up and go of the AMG was what really made me think twice....its a totally diffrent story than seeing pictures...then actually driving a car..i could also tell you the 350Z>G35 from just driving the 2...its amazing what a test drive can tell you diffrent than pics

i'm telling u man, if they have the S-Class..pick it up....thats so hot!! or maybe even the Infiniti Q45, those are sick! and you can pick em up cheap. I've seen a black one on I-4 with black rims, sick, just sick. IMO, 41k for that C-AMG is not worth it. If you want speed....**whispers** get a bike...:katana:

But in all seriousness....be careful about buying a car with that kinda price tag. I'd like to see you get a house first, then a car. My mistake was I bought all my toys first, but was still living in apts. I'm trying to get a house now, and would gladly get rid of the other shit for it. A house is the best investment you can make, a car is the worst. Think about that. But its your money, and if you do spend it, get the big body. Come strong, or dont come at all!

Those 3 cars are so different that it's gonna be up to your personal taste. Those S-Type Jags aren't as highly regarded in reviews as the Z and AMG, and the Jag -> Ford thing took all the luster off those cars for me years ago. Now they're just Taurus platforms with a cool front end and an average engine for the $$$.

i have a house paid for already as soon as my parent kick the current renters out..not a bad ass one..but decent for me and my girl to live in until im done with school....so ill have paid off the car by the time a house comes around...this will be an investment for school and work and my own pleasure...i have to ride with doctors sometimes and riding in there AMGs, H2s, 911s is giving me this itch....

If i had 45K to play with right now, i ll tell you exactly what i'd do. Buy a used few year old Suburban, Tahoe, etc for about 20k. I'd spend another 13k on a sweet Hayabusa. the other 12k i'd use to get a pair of Sea-doo's. Many more toys to play with, vs. just having one.

Bro, if you got 45K approved, you can easily get a pimp car and a pimp bike. Maybe even a beater to offset the miles to both of them.

G35 coupe + R1 + beater = Easily 45k or less.

honestly...these wont really affect me finacially wise..im gonna be in the 7-800 range...im about done getting rid of all my CCs, so only thing i would have would be the car payment and insurance and gas and tuneups and going out..nothing else..school is payed for and by the time im done...the car will be also..then ill have a pretty good credit history along with only an insurance payment to get a house and have those payment for utilities etc...so id rather get a nice car now, one that i would keep for a while, then worry about other things later..its kinda hard to explain..but that should sum it up

and why haven't I been invited?

I would either go with the Mercedes or 350z. I really don't care too much for the Z's but that particular touring one w/ rims is pretty smooth. I am really leaning towards the Mercedes, can't go wrong there. That silver S500 is what I would get.
