Hammond freaking out about the bugs in the car was hillarious, and so was jeremey setting the top of hammonds car on fire.

I felt really bad about the altitude sickness part. they must have felt like shit.

i loved this episode for some reason, i really like when they do the challenges, and the beginning of this one seemed like a lot of fun, but not the desert/high alititude part
and i sure love when the underdog wins

I've been sick and haven't commented on this.

Truly epic, one of my fav episodes ever. Rewatched hammond and the bug scene like 5 times.

A lot of it had to be staged but I dont even care, it still was a great endeavor

Another point about these specials is that they are better then most of the travel channel programs. These specials really show you the real parts of the country and not just any tourist traps. Comedy, travel and automotive all packed into one. It's going to be a very sad day if they ever cancel this show.

very true. I learn more from them about the world than any so called learning channel or travel channel. You see the area as you actually would.

btw as a side in response to someone elses post, my wife loves the show, gets just about as into it as I do.
