A bit harsh, but it is the TRUTH about that car. Tooo many hands were involved in its designed (Cosmetic/Mechanical), and that leads to a car being anything but pure. What sucks is that the exhaust note on the Z is sweet harmony, but that engine sounds like ass. Hopefully they give it more exciting powerband and driving dynamics, and quit dicking around trying to please everyone with this, and make it a pure sports car.

Goat: You really have some hatred for the Z don't you? This review is pure rubbish and not worth posting or watching. Why? Not because I own a Z, but because it's a crap review.
He's wrong on so many points (the VQ is not a Renault engine) and he just uses his bias against American cars with his belief that the Z was designed for Americans. What does a Corvette crashing have to do with the Z?

i'd have to agree, that review was worthless. the car would be more exciting with an update in performance(cough 4.0vq) and some materials, but it is certainly better than what he was trying to project.

Theres nothing wrong with what he said. He was just saying the 350z is a pig for a sports car. Is that a lie? Is the 350z lightweight? NOPE.
He was harsh buthe also pointed out all the things that i didnt like about the car when i drove it. He just made it sound 10x worse.

you can definitely tell he was biased with his review. on another episode of top gear i have, the rx-8 and the 350z did the EXACT same track time; and fatty said he LOVED the rx-8.

Well you mentioned those other cars being the same weight as the 350z.. but look at the SIZE of all them. The 350z is MUCH smaller than most of those. Really it should weigh much less than it does. IMO
But its hard to keep a car lightweight these days anyways. No biggie.

The Pathfinder still has the old Nissan feel as well as the 01 Altima.
The 03 takes some getting use too, it has its cheap places, but its a good car.
