Since they thought to note very wet beside the Porsche's time you would think they would have at least put wet beside those that were run on a wet track.
We know for certain the top few were run in the dry, the Maserati, Enzo, GT3, 360 CS and Ariel were for certain. (watched the vids)

Yeah, it's weird. I've been on a Top Gear binge recently, I watch at least two episodes a night after I get home from work to help me relax. I've had so many people at work because I use rediculous quotes from the show. "Crikey, it does look good" when a hot girl walks through the door, for instance. I've even started using the words "saloon" and "estate" in entirely new ways

it goes in a figure 8, from start to chicago, to hammerhead to follow through to bacharach then gambon/finish

So why not simply have a wet and dry comparison tower? they have supercar times up there tested when the track was wet.
The point is comparing things on a fair ground, not that it rains in England.
The track times from them are useless as you have no idea which was run wet to dry after the fact... then your looking at their track time numbers comparing cars... those numbers are useless without reference to conditions. Heavy rain could easily mean 5+ seconds of extra time.

I find comfort in their track times. As mentioned it's quite obvious when a car was run in the wet. But they use the same test driver and he is DAMN good and YES I do feel that conclusions can be made from his lap times, obviously when the track conditions are the same. i.e. when he ran a smidgen faster than the Enzo in the MC12, yes I believe the MC12 is faster and it SHOULD be faster in purely theoretical terms... the show must go on... rain or shine.
ps. the DBR9 is a full-blown race car built for and raced at Le Mans. It was a privilege for them to be able to test it on their show. The DBRS9 is a street car, and their times would not have been comparable, in any sense really.
ps. and this is not in Car Talk because....

That think just looks like so much fun. 0-100-0 in under 11 seconds
And I'm 99.9% sure it's powered by a Honda motor.

Hmm... yet it makes 220 horsepower according to their website. Which motor do they use in the Civic Type-R? Is it a K20?

Nevermind I figured it out. They have different motors.
The supercharged K20 makes 300 horsepower which is about right. Basically the RSX-S motor with the jackson racing supercharger:

As seen in the pic above, it's a lightweight roadster powered by a supercharged Honda Civic Type R engine. Thats 300 bhp pushing just over 500kg around. This is about as close to a street-legal F1 car as you can get. 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. I read a webpage where someone commented, "I about fell off my chair laughing when he said that" on the video. I'm with him! Unbelievable accerlaration Although I was drinking coffee at the time and nearly expelled it at hearing this car's stats. Further, during one part of the video the guy's face ripples and distorts from the G-forces (and wind) which make the astronauts' testing centrifuge look like a walk in the park!

The scary thing about the Atom is that the "company" is staffed up with a whole 7 guys in a garage in England. That's it. They build them one-at-at-time in a garage.
Imagine had they used the K20 with a K-Pro in addition to the blower.
