When the XKR, 645, and Carrera were going round and round in a circle, they were playing this opera-ish music, it was a ladys voice, does anyone know what song that was?

They are blunt and witty, no wonder they have made it this far. I mean how many guys do you know in other countries that download Car and driver TV via torrents to watch it, not many i say.

my friend has your everyday CTS. It's nice, but the interior is kinda cheap. Don't know much about the CTS-V's interior, however.

Yes, but the GTO they tested was the LS1 with "only" 350 hp. The LS2 one should beat the CTS-V.

ls6 is def stronger than the ls2 even though they are rated the same, the ls6 makes + 20/20 more on the dyno

Maybe, but the 5.7 GTO with the LS1 only dynos around 295-300 whp even with the rated 350 hp, per ls1.com. That's less than the Fbodies which were underrated and sometimes put down over 300 at the wheels.

Personally, I think the CTS-V is dead on. I almost bought one last year when I was looking.. then wound up with my TL. I still love the car and what Cadillac has been doing of late. They seem to be the only GM division that knows what's happening. In the 60's, Chevy and Pontiac pretty much dominated the nation's drag strips. You knew that GM was on top of the picture. So you have to ask yourself, "what happened?". Ford and Chrysler and a host of other companies (Acura/Honda, Nissan, blah, blah, blah) know what the public wants. Why not GM?

To Seattle Cl-S;
Your CTS-V is beautiful. Congrats on a fine choice. The little small block Chevy is a proven design and is one of the best engines in the past 50 years.
