Love the chrome delete!! Have you thought about debadging the car?
I have one piece of advice to chip in, please drive it One of the biggest mistakes I realized I made after I totaled my Camry was this: I felt I drove the hell out of the Camry and for that I felt complete letting it go. And then I looked at the RL and I felt terrible for not driving it. Please don't let this beautiful piece of machinery sit!!
Random question, but what's the "T" tag in Ontario? I thought the tags were usually month and year of expiration??

As for driving the car, you don't have to worry about that at all. It's gonna be driven anywhere/everywhere just like the RL was, my wallet won't be thrilled but...
As for the "T", it's just a temp sticker till I get the car safetied & then get the annual sticker. Safety is already done, just need to get to the ministry in time before they close.
Here's some V motivation..

For me, I'd want to do the door/window trim, front chin spoiler & trunk trim, maybe the side sill trim & door handles. I'd leave the mirror caps as is.

Definitely going to be debadging the "CTS" & "GM" badges on the fenders, then eventually picking up some blacked out V badges.

Hey did you end up buying this one from Vancouver? I remember seeing a manual V pop up on craigslist. Congrats on the purchase!

Probably some spacers for now & found out last week that Ground Control finally has a setup for the V2 which retains the mag ride. Ideas are flowing..
As for the paint, except for some minor blemishes it is really clean. The one thing that drives me nuts is the body gaps & orange peel..

The rears more than likely do, haven't even looked into it yet though to be honest.
Been looking at different setups to see how aggressive I want to go. As always, hard to judge from pics.

I'm actually curious- how does the clutch and shifter feel in the V? Are they completely numb and void of feedback? Or is the shifter crisp and heavy feeling, like a Honda 6MT? what about the clutch?

The fact that it is a Prince George car with no rust, and paint in near pristine condition, thats crazy f'in rare. Especially since PG has snow basically year round

If the 2G is like a C6, then I'd say it's not Honda crisp, but not a sloppy shifter either.

As for the shifter, it's no where as smooth as the TL but not bad at all. Throws are pretty long though, a short shifter is on the list.
Needs a full polish but that's in due time.

I've driven a V with a 6MT and it felt about the same as when I had my 6MT C6 Grand Sport..
IMO the clutch never felt heavy and the shifter was pretty smooth, the skip shift sucked at first but then you get used to it,or you can buy a skip shift eliminator.. What I always liked about the 6MT in the Vette was you barely needed to lift your foot off the clutch and the car would move. IMO a very easy 6MT to live with, even in traffic..
Yeah the auto is faster, but does it really matter unless I'm bracket racing.. And while the auto is great as is, from what I've read a mild trans tune really kicks up the performance..
I love my V, but man I really miss the 6MT..
