did you get a better gas mileage after the tune? my ms3 is getting so much better gas mileage even with so many more WOT runs per tank!
I'm not easy enough on the gas to notice any mileage gains. Also, doesn't help that most of my driving is in stop and go traffic. Commute on the 210 is Also doesn't help that the A4 Avant is a fat pig coming in at around ~3650 lbs.

One of these days it'll be nice to get on the open road to see what kind of mileage I can get.

My Team Lead has an A4 Avant. Loves it. I'll see if he has had any problems with it.

i know it's 2010 model, but my gf 2010 a4 avant has been trouble free for the past 2 years. we love it very much. the car only has 11k miles though. she purchased it, so if the car stays pretty much trouble free for another 2-3 years, we are planning to keep it for quite awhile.

I had the APR 91 program in my B7 A4 2.0T. The gas mileage was about the same prior to the tune.

if you're still looking for an Audi a4 avant, thought i'd post these up
they are both in CT, but they still look pretty good
both are 2.0T White Manuals, and both are at audi dealers

first one is an 08 and a bit over your budget of 20-25k

and the 2nd one is a little higher mileage, but pretty much everything you could want

that said, the A4 with the 2.0T is also an option...
with a budget of 20-25k and taking gas mileage into consideration, i'd say the 2.0t would be the better buy

I dont know if you are dead set on the Audi, but a good alternative IMO would be Mazdaspeed3. It would probably be easier on the pocketbook as well. I heard they are a blast to drive.
