The other tire is pretty new, but the OEM recommended tire (potenza) was around $230. I got a cheaper tire for around $100 that had the same rating and was directional (similar to the OEM). Yeah, not really recommended but I didn't want to form up a couple hundred dollars for a tire that I am replacing in another month (ordered my volks and 18/19 setup).

Beautiful car!!!!

The ppl @ tire rack didn't really react to that tire...like they see it all the time. lol They get quite a bit of walk in customers, I was really surprised. Their actual warehouse was MASSIVE not to mention their HUGE garage. There were not doing any testing while I was there, but they had a bout 10 "test" bmw's in front. Here is a quick pic of their showroom.

Since the volks wont get there for a few weeks, whats the first mod planned for the big orange ? Oh and how old is the comptech and how does it sound? I take that its just the exhaust and not headers/exhaust?

^ comptech sounds decent... I'm probably going to keep it. Nice low drone. Also, diffuser, spoiler and coilovers should arrive by next week.

Congrats bro!! Glad you and the car came back in one piece! When are you gonna swing by to show me? Have you thought about the NSX-R hood?? That definitely gives post pop-ups an aggressive, exotic look!

Looks Sweeet.........

Is the color a factory color? I don't recall and I'm to lazy to look it up.

And you're lucky the wheel remained in tact. It looks like the sidewall saved the wheel from a serious road rash. Anyway, congrats on a sweet ride.

So I gotta ask, what are the major differences in performance/handling from the 350Z? Not a very common comparison, but they are both 2 passenger, RWD sports cars. I imagine the VQ had a lot more torque but the NSX pulls a lot harder up top? What about ride comfort and handling wise? I know you haven't had it long but maybe you can sum it up in a few words.
