Swirl Marks on a new BMW
A friend of mine took delivery of his new 325 yesterday and he asked me to come along, to see if everything was A-OK...well the first thing i spotted were swirl marks on the hood...and they were all over the place and were visible inside the showroom....imagine what sunlight will do.....and the salesperson totally skirted around it saying stuff like "oh its in the clear coat...these lights in the showroom are really strong...all new cars have it' and my friend also decided to ignore it (i guess he was so excited with his new purchase)
what do you guys thing? am I being paranoid...coz I wouldn't have taken delivery of a 30 thousand dollar car which had visible blemishes like that

if it was black. its true... most black cars no matter how expensive or how new... will have swirl marks... especially under flourescent light.
just used 3M #39009 on my friends 325 yesterday. worked great... their paint is crazy thick.
