That may well be the case, however, can he take that car through the twisties?

cool. Then, that is a well put together car. My comments earlier were directed to those who go and get an Si and put a turbo on it, raise the boost, and try to take it through the twisties with stock suspension. Then they do not understand why there turbo civic is getting beat by an LS teggy. Unfortunatley, there are a lot of peeps around here who are of that mentality.

One experience I can share:

I was driving around in my friend's modded 350Z, and he pulled up next to a light and there was an old early 90s era Civic hatch at the light, he revved, and it was on.

Long story short, the Civic won, and turns out we were going to the same meet. So we check out his car, he has an absolutley STRIPPED interior, and a turbo GS-R motor. He was all bragging about his win, and how is car was daily driven, etc etc.

My response: "Congratulations, you drive a Civic with no air conditioning in Florida. I bet the ladies love that in the summer"

The S2k had a lot of suspension work, springs, struts, sway's and most importantly, it was corner weighted. He also has a cold air intake, exhaust and battery that is about the size of a motorcycle battery. He can drive the crap out of that car. So, he was right there with us.

Have you gotten yours yet?

it is one thing to have that as a fun only car, and another to have to drive it everyday.

Yep, last night. I can't even imagine what it would be like with all that suspension work. The ride is so tight already... I can hardly feel any sway, and I feel every bump in the road.

That was his problem. When all of this was done, he said that it took a good year to learn how to drive it to it's fullest extent. And man, this guy is not your average driver!!

I got in at 1am last night from Vegas, woke up at 5am for work.

Need a few hours this afternoon to take the front plate + dealer decals off and wash it before I can take any pics...

Geeze, that would be a little overkill for that little of a car. As with anything, there is a point where there is too much power.

A well modded viper, vette, s2000, elise will own any modded civic any day of the week.

I meant to say a well modded boosted s2000, elise, viper, z06 would own a well modded civic. But, those little hatchback civics can be little buggers.
