Stolen h&r project car

Recently our Jetta V White edition was stolen from Bellingham Washington last seen on it's way to Skagit county, possibly on its way to Texas. Lets get these *******s.
People of interest. Main Female, Jennifer Gilfillin, and male Rob (no last name). There is a reward to information leading to the recovery of the car or these peoples whereabouts.

long story short. Dealt with the couple for a week, calling emailing test driving negotiating final price and so on. went to the bank with the couple, they produced a fake cashiers check which even the bank was not fooled till after they had left. Since i signed the title, SAFECO said it was not my car anymore. The police do not agree since it was premeditated auto theft by fraud. Our attorney is confident he can get SAFECO to pay. we will see.
sniper would be nice! ha! nice... thanks for your help, just keep eyes out is all i ask, if you want to post a negative comment or stir up drama about this, please refrain, not the best of weeks, thanks.

i am at work, if anyone can help me out and post a pic of the car that would be great!

If it's like the old Jettas, wait a couple weeks and they will find it on the side of a road broken down.

That's what I heard, so that's why I said if it was like the old Jettas. Every single person I knew that had an older Jetta, or VW complained a lot about the quality.

Lesson to learn about cashier's checks ... wait 3 business days before signing over the papers. (ie to make sure it clears!) That's what the dealership I used did when I bought my car.

depending on where they live, when i'm selling lets say a used combine or semi. I have them(the buyer) leave an a pickup or something until the check clears. if the check bounces the truck or whatever mine.

this is why you go to the bank with them to watch the cheque get cut by the bank.

So you're out $55k to $70k for a 9610, and all you get is a truck? I'd make that trade with you....

This has been happening more and more often. I know a guy that drove down to Chicago on a Sunday afternoon and sold his modded EVO. By the time he got to the bank Monday the guy was gone, nowhere to be found with the title in his hand. Guy was out like $26K or something like that.
