Yeah, in August. Flipping it now. Not sure if you saw the topic I posted about another car a month ago or so... but it makes more sense to have an extra car to drive to/from the beach then to have the buggy which we just drive local (or tow to the beach and drive there). It's a ton of fun, but we changed our approach a bit....

^^^ Yes sir! Spring is finally here-now I can get it out.
It's officially Spring in KC anyway-today I took out the rubber floor mats from the Type S.

I did! Kind of mixed feelings. Loved the car, but it felt "bigger" then I thought it would. I'm also not a huge fan of the convertibles (I think the coupes look so much nicer) and red is not high on my color list (I know I can always vinyl wrap).
So I did like the car, but passed on the transaction.

To me, the convertibles only look good with the top down. They don't look good with the tops up.
For me, I love the Torch Red, but the other red color (Crystal Red)-not so much. Plus the Crystal Red is an extra $1,000.

I owned the Premier Edition coupe for about 18 hours. It was a nice color, but it didn't pop like the Torch Red. If it wasn't a Premier Edition car, I never would have had Laguna Blue on my radar.
Red does it for me....it's hard to imagine a Corvette not being red.

Just one thing to add here.....
Steven, love how your making your vette your own. But start making that puppy faster. You don't want to get pulled on by some guy in a C6 Convertible with his top down.

^^^I can almost guarantee you that the days of having to rev his ego with his right foot to prove something to someone else are long gone. I bet this car only gets a slight pounding in a very safe environment with nobody else around.
and by slight pounding I mean, Steven shifting at 5K rpm instead of 3K...all the way up to 55 mph

I think you took my attempt to motivate Steven to modify the performance of his vette a little too serious. Not every old man with a Vette that modifies its performance is seeking to "rev his ego with his right foot to prove something to someone."

LOL....no one is there but me on the weekends. Yes, it gets pretty lonely being in the building by myself.

Carbon Fiber Center Console Installed!
Guys,
Sorry about the picture quality-these were taken with my iPhone at the dealership, who installed the center console. I had to get to the radio station to be on the radio quickly.
THE CENTER CONSOLE LOOKS AWESOME!!!! It perfectly blends with the OEM carbon fiber dash.
I'll try to get some sunshine shots ASAP.
