Steven, honestly, now knowing that your car has the magnetic ride suspension, I'd take that and a slightly higher stance over coil overs and a slightly lower stance any day of the week.

Same logic with the CTS-V with its magnetic ride suspension. There are lowering springs for the V, but folks have had issues with squeaking and such, resulting in modifying the modified suspension. Car feels fine with the stock suspension. To do a better job with lowering, you'd have to remove the magnetic ride system and replace with coilers or bags. That's a LOT of trouble to go to for a slightly reduced wheel gap. Just be thankful it's not 4 x 4 like on Acuras.

Bob...I was under the impression the springs kept the magnetic ride without issue...if it fucks shit up, I second that post, Steven. Keep it stock height.
Plus, YOU don't see an issue with the ride height, so our opinion shouldn't matter. I'm just a major fanatic about the way a car sits in relation to the wheels.
Anyway...all that said...holy fucking fuckery fuck. That things looks amazing on those new wheels. Enjoy it in great health, my friend.

Looks good Steven. I would just leave suspension stock since you have magnetic dampers.
I know ppl that buy the car to use for autocross etc. skip the magnetic dampers because car is faster without them.

Steven, just sell that piece of shit to me at a 75% loss and hold your head high. In this life, you need friends like me to help you carry the burdens.
Some say, if you get lemons, make lemonade. I say, add it to that pile of shit and then put it on some sort of car freight transport and have it shipped to me. I'll wear shades and grow a beard so nobody recognizes me driving around in that pile.
All this, I do for you.
#brotherhood (that's a hashtag, not a pound sign. FYI).

Steven, just saw a dark gray one here in Boca...open 3 lane road...he slowed down by downshifting...I was like, WOW...that engine sounds great. Then I saw why he did...he was going to punch it...1st 2nd 3rd... That car is a rocket. Immediately I knew that one day I'll get one. I also realized I'd need some sort of a napkin for my pants before it got all dry and crusty in there.

Jeremy, these cars are wicked fast-even the Base model with 455 horsepower.
With the mods I've done, I'm going to say that I'm at 500 horsepower. When you open them up and let them run, they're pretty damn amazing!

How much HP will you be at after you get your Supercharger?
Love the wheels SB, they flow with the car perfectly. And like others have said, if the adding springs would mess with magnetic ride, it doesn't make sense. Maybe later down the road something will come out that will let you do a mild drop without compromising the ride quality and whatnot. But I really just can't get over how great the wheels look!

car looks awesome, those wheels really set it off. Do you regret not waiting for the Z06 model? I want to say the C7 Z06 is the ultimate car for me right now

I don't regret not waiting at all, actually. Yes, the ZO6/ZO7 is a monster at 650/650 HP/LB-FT Torque. But it's a true track car, which is something I don't do often at all.
They're still having overheating issues with the ZO6/ZO7-it's been 2 years and no "fix" yet. Plus, my C7 gets MUCH better gas mileage and has ~500 horsepower, which is more than I've ever had before! Plus, the $20,000 I saved on my C7 went into mods, which make my car look MUCH better anyway!!!!!
Go back a few pages and look at the Carbon Fiber interior, exterior and engine bay mods I've done.....ZERO regrets!

Thanks brother! I appreciate all that. Ironically, ProCharger is about 5 minutes away from my house! But that's another $6,000-$7,000.....uninstalled!
