hey guys, this isnt on my tl but on the 4runner, i was hooking up a new deck and the caps fell off of my black and red wire due to there being 4 each. That blew a fuse, i replaced that but no power to the deck now. i tried old deck and still no luck, chcecked all teh fuses and still nothing, any ideas? plesae help me out. the clock and cigarette lighters and power mirrors dont work either.

 

Are you sure you replaced the right fuse? I know it sounds Mr. Obvious, but in all liklihood since other electrical accessories are not working, it sounds fuse related. Does your fuse panel tell you what covers the mirrors and can you check that one again?

 

check the fuse for the clock and cigarette lighters and power mirrors

 

if those aren't working either, then it's gotta be the fuse

 

i have an 01 4 runner.. and i think there the same.. sounds like you missing a fuse some where.. i think there is a fuse box under the hood too.. might want to check there

 

checked them both spots, no fuse for cig,radio,clock or power mirrors about to go one by one again and see what happens

 

ok finally got it work, after a new battery and finally found out which damn fuse it was thaks for the help
