The bulb appears to be chrome but they still flash yellow. That way you can't see the filament inside the bulb and such.

oh ok thanks. the turn signal bulbs are actually clear. they're amber reflectors inside the housing that light up once the blinker is on. you can't see the bulb and you can barely see the reflectors just by looking at the housing.

Well, the shots you posted of the reflectors show up amber from a distance...the point to these bulbs is they allow the entire housing to remain clear LOOKING until the bulb is turned on to signal. Good addition and only cost like $10 on ebay normally...I used them for my sidemarkers on the S2000 too.

i actually like it like that, being able to see the amber. when i bought the car i asked the previous owner to put the oem amber side markers back on. he was shocked that i wanted to get rid of the clear markers he had on.

yeah, I kinda understand. I'm actually on the fence about whether or not to put the amber S2000 sides back on too. I was considering getting the clear reflectors to convert the headlights too but I am starting to slowly come back to being more into having the amber look.

yea im down to caravan. its a long boring drive by yourself.
Florida is so much better. just got to get used to VA.
im down for it. now that its a 2 day event im wondering how that changes things. i know theres usually a lot of pre-meets before the main one on sunday.

This thread has me thinking that I'm going to sell my TL once I'm out of college and buy a beater to daily and an NSX to restore. Beautiful car everything you have done to it is perfect, I wish I could see this beauty in person.

i say do it if your able to too, best purchase ive made. i wanted to do it now before theres a wife and kid in the picture. once that happens i wouldnt be able to justify the money ive spent so far. family comes first.

That was you then. I checked the date. I didn't read thru the last couple pages...did you bring the X up there with you? Coming from down south after you pass North Carolina the roads are total shit. I was RECENTLY reminded of that when I took two 10 hour trips up to the DC area over the last 5 weeks.

It's once you get into VA that the roads suck. It's almost like once you hit the NC/VA border it changes. All I know is be careful once you pass Greensboro if you're on 85. Roads are garbage for lowered cars with low profile tires beyond that point. Either potholes or ridges or irregularities that make driving annoying. I'm not saying it would be bad if you were in an SUV but for a dropped car with stiff suspension...ugghhh!
