Unfortunately from what I can tell the only years you can do ITBs on are 1991-1994 cause that is the only years with a cable throttle. After that I believe the NSX became DBW. Otherwise I would definitely go that route for the sound. ITB sound is just amazing.

NA with a set of headers at some point maybe down the road. I mean headers can't really make the car much louder than it already is with straight piped resonators on the car basically.

as far as power goes the NA2 headers are pretty much maxed out. Most NA2 owners don’t bother swapping them. The NA1 headers were old heavy cast iron so swapping them yelded some good gains.

SOS states you get 17whp from theirs? Is that true or no? If staying I stay NA 17whp gain is nothing to sneeze about since it is probably the largest gain I can get from anything at that point. Now it would really depend though where that power is in the band to determine if it is worth it.

that can’t be from their supercharger. You actually get more gains from theirs than the comptech. 17whp is way off. I get more than that from my high boost kit I just got.

lol I don’t know why I thought you were talking about the blower. Hmm I’ve always heard different from NA2 owners. If there’s been a change for na2’s yea this would be the biggest gain if you’re staying NA.

this has been has great day. I just picked up set of my all time favorite wheel, work vs-xx. I had a set on my last car but sold them to fund my nsx. the specs are 17x7.5 +41 17x8 +45. I'm only going to keep the rears and move them to the front and sell the 17x7.5 pair and order a pair of 19x10.5s straight from work. the plan is to rebuild the 17x8 into an 18x8.5 with a step lip. work no longer sells the vs-xx in an 18in with a step lip only reverse lip. I'm also going to redo the faces in work gold and chrome the lips and bolts.

as of 15Nov18 mods as follows:

B-Line Motorsports CAI
Comptech Headers
Taitec GTLW Exhaust
Prospeed High Flow Cats

i probably won’t order the rears until next month. Then it’s a 3 month wait from work. I’m pretty excited about this wheel build.

decided to swap to a different comptech supercharger. I had the 1st gen comptech Whipple sc and I came across a great deal so I swapped to the newer comptech autorotor sc. it puts out a little more power, generates less heat and much more efficient.

@rockstar143 I am not considering right now. No budget for it either but honestly I like having 1 NA car in the garage.

Are you keeping the current side skirts and splitters or selling them? I like how the downforce ones with the splitters kind of square off the sides and it doesn't wrap under the car so much like the OEM ones.

I sold my old downforce sides and I’m reusing my splitters for my new downforce sides. Yea that’s why I like the splitters also.

Amazing amount of work you've done on that NSX but am I the only one that would be perfectly satisfied with the performance of a stock NSX??? I mean, if I had one of the late-model ones with the fixed headlights I wouldn't even want to change the wheels on it. Perhaps modernize the interior a bit with a touchscreen interface or something, but other than that I'd be totally fine with the NSX just as it is!

You say that until you buy it and then you realize that you are true to your car enthusiast roots and there are little things you can change and before you know it you're balls deep in your NSX with no plans of pulling out and no money for baby NSX child support payments. I've seen it happen a 1000 times.

This I do not believe. No car project is ever done. We always still tinker with changes.

I won’t stop swapping wheels but the rest of the modding will be done on this car. I’ve literally done everything I’ve ever wanted to do to it. I just have to finish this last phase of the car. I really want something like a Lexus LS or some other big body luxury car for a daily. So I’ll probably start researching that.
