im sorry but that looks like shit!!!

i guess most of you guys have been desensitized and is used to the "plain" look!

can someone post a pic of a 94-95 legend sedan!?! Please explain to me how Acura went from a bad ass looking car like the legend to a car that looks like a box????

the style is way too plain, i like the 03 body style better!!!

3 series is to 5 series as TSX is to TL

thats probably the thinking here

in order to develop a true opinion, i need engine, braking, suspension specifics, as well as info on the interior (which there hasnt been a SINGLE photo of what-so-ever, and clear shots of the outside.
While most of what you said was right on the money. I don't agree with your last paragraph. To develop a true opinion, you really need to drive it. Don't get into a habbit of judging a car by its numbers. The TSX doesn't look all that great on paper but the 6spd is very fun to drive. And just look at the S2000...on paper, it looks quite underwhelming...then you drive it and you get the real story.

Though I don't have a pic, I do agree that the Legend sedan (and coupe) were badass. I was hoping for a return of that style but I guess not.

So the big debate over at ClubTSX is whether or not the "bump" under the rear bumber is a differential or not. Anyone seen enough VTM-4 differentials to make a call on that? I have to tell you it sure looks like it to me ... which confirms rumors from a fairly good source that I have.

Thoughts?

Like I said earlier in this thread--- It's pretty obvious that the "grooves" that you're talking about are covered up with tape. Take a good look. They sure look like they're there.

Definitely not a differential housing. It's not even in the center of the car...... Even an IRS would have the diff housing in the center.

Very good point ... I will keep the hope alive as like I said the source that told me VTM-4 was SPOT ON with every single piece of info on the TSX. I am probably more excited if Acura doesn't go that route the more I think about it. I mean what we really need is an IMA based TL and TSX. My guess is if they engineered in VTM-4 in to the next gen TL then guess what .... that means IMA based sports sedan is further away since they would not have done the VTM-4 if IMA AWD is less than 4 years behind.

I have around 33 months left on my TSX lease and I am really hoping I can say my next car is an IMA based Acura! (Ok - an RL doesn't count )

I don't know man the Honda/Acura line-up; Civc/Accord -- RSX/TSX/TL, is all looking ALL WAY too much a like. We'll have to see what the production version looks like, & what kind of dollars.

Plus to top it all off, the tranny glitch has soured me from Honda lines for a while. Seems like it has been an on-going (keep it quiet) issue.

Time to look around, my current interest is the new RX8.

Looks quite acceptable. Bigger questions are; 6 Speeds?, HLSD (or RWD, but thats not going to happen)? Less body roll?
