Someone offered me a nice price on my Cobra....should I sell?
I got a PM about 2 days ago on a svt site asking me if I'd sell my car...its exactly what he wants. I didn't post it for sale....he just pm'd me out of no where. He offered my a nice price....the question is....do I sell it or keep it? I've never been in this situation.

It really depends on what you want (and the offer)...weren't you thinking about selling it before? If you're bored with it and won't regret selling it, go for it. However, if there's nothing else you'd rather have, keep it.

Sell it already! You're killing me with this mancipo interruptus
Seriously though, you've thought about it and finally got your number. If it's legit, I say you sell it. No point keeping a car you don't want anymore if you get what you want for it.

think about how much you think you might get for it if and when you *do* feel like selling it, and compare it with the offer you just received.. if you feel like the time is "right", sell.

how do we give you an opinion, what are we giving you an opinion on? Whether we think you should sell or not? Does our answer matter?
If you want to sell......sell. If you don't want to sell....don't sell. We can't guide you in the right direction Nicky

Did he ask you to take a cashiers check for $10,000 over asking price and send him back the difference?
Did he ask you to ship it to Nigeria?

"feelings" need to left out. Think of it as a business decision.

I say sell it. That way we'll never have to see another should I sell my Cobra thread. It's really a win-win for everyone.

I say do it... that M5 looks pretty damn clean.

Jizzy, you just had the engine rebuilt in the E24, no ?? That's the only downside to jumping on the M5 w/ 240K miles...
Since it's a second car, I don't see why you can't swap 'em up every few months or so... but with 240K, you're going to be limited in who is going to want it when you're done with it...

Yes rebuilt but its still an auto with rust showing. So i rather dump it for something i will enjoy more. The M5 had its head rebuilt at 190k.
Yea thats the great thing about these old cars, you can drive them for a few years without the value going down. Hell i think the value of the E34 M5 is currently going up. Last handmade M car,
But yea selling it later might be tricky with the miles on the chassis.

There's been quite a trend of cocktease threads lately...ba ba ba bapppp - take a look at my girlfriend, she's the only one I got.
For Crikey's sake, if you ask should I pull the trigger, pull the fucking trigger!
