Some fall pictures of the Vette
I found a nice spot to take some pictures this afternoon.
I thought you guys might want to see them.
I apologize for not being around here much anymore.
I’ve been real busy at work and they cracked down big time on daytime Internet use.
And of course I’m hanging out more on the vette forums.
But it’s never possible to quit this place entirely.
I absolutely LOVE the car and I’m enjoying every mile driving it.
Speaking of miles, I’m up to nearly 7,000 since I got it in January.
It’s just about time to put it away for the winter so the Subaru will be getting more use.
Here ya go……….

Also…..I was in Ocean City MD for the big “Corvette’s on the Boardwalk” event last weekend.
Over 1,000 cars were on display at the inlet parking lot and 700+ did the parade down the boardwalk.
Some fellow members got two pics of me & the wife as we were driving by.
It was awesome driving on the boardwalk. Revving it up for the spectators and seeing people waving off the balcony’s 10 stories up.

Your 'Vette looks fine. Nicely taken care of and a great color.
My favorite year and model was the 1966 427 convertible, preferrably with the removable hardtop (and side pipes, of course).
But Chevy has done wonders with their little small block and the proof is what sits under your hood.
Enjoy you really fine machine.

Looks greats! The blue exterior and polished wheels give it a very elegant look.

There was a Corvette meet today at the Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus. It was amusing all the Z05 & Z06 owners were clean cut while the Stingray owners were either full gray hair or had mullets

Gonna spread it over two or three days next year.
Way too much to do in one day.

NICE RIDE.
Very cool pics and event. My sister lives in OC and cooked some chili for the event. Sher works at the Cottage Cafe in Bethany Beach, just north of OC. My neigbor also drove his red Vette to the event and he also said that revving it on the boardwalk was freaky. He said it felt like he was breaking the law or something- he has a custom exhaust that is fairly loud.

People were holding up sign’s that said stuff like “Make some noise” and “I can’t hear you”.
Of course I had to oblige.
I have a Corsa Sport exhaust system on mine and it’s pretty loud when you get on it.

Does the removable panel fit in the trunk when you take it out?

22 cubic feet to be exact.
Even with the top back there, there’s still room for stuff below, above and in front of it.

Any pics of said trunk. I know, its stupid to ask for pics of the trunk of a Vette, but I have to see this!

those are some bright wheels
Got any video/sound clips of the corsa's? I've been thinking about those but not sure I want aftermarket exhaust.

HUGE trunk, one reason I wish I would have gotten a used vette instead of my gto
I witnessed a guy put a chopper frame, motor, and wheels and tires in the back of a corvette. I sat there thinking "this guy is nuts, it's not going to fit' and sure enough it all slipped in.

Here’s one I found on Google with an aftermarket rear partition in place.
There’s another 20-inches between that partition and the back of the seats.
And here’s one with the top stowed back there:

My sucsess rate on returns is running pretty good too.
I think I’m at about 90% return waves.
The hard part is NOT waving when I see a vette while I’m driving the Subaru.
