Yea, I don't plan on doing much to it if at all except maybe clear corners.

I thought 3k, but now I heard it was 1500. So I am not sure and have been unable to find the exact number.

Special consideration is given during assembly of the NISMO 350Z – structural rigidity is enhanced by additional body welds to the already rigid 350Z body and additional supports have been added front and rear. The NISMO 350Z also utilizes special body dampers mounted in the front radiator core support and in the rear cargo area, which assist in controlling body vibrations. Additional performance features include a special NISMO-tuned independent multi-link suspension,
Its the only part that i thought was worth the price. Otherwise. meh.

I personally think i would have gone with the G37 coupe since its faster but im sure this 350z handles way better

on being different though.

Thanks guys. I can't believe what I found. I knew the car was riding extremly rough...here is why:

And the dealer heard about it too. I removed them and it rides 50X better now.

And some more underbody pics while I was under it...

They prevent the suspension from compressing while the car is on the boat being shipped over. Saves the suspension from wear. I didn't see any on the rear so I am not sure if the rear had any.

Wow, that's the first I've ever seen anything like those. You'd think they'd just fall off or something when the car starts hitting the highway.

I like the Nismo 350 but the rear bumper looks funny to me. IMO they could have done a better job.

If Lexus had manual cars that would happen and they were sporty. :P

Every time I come back to this thread and see the pics I like the car more and more. I've very rarely drooled over a 350Z before but this one is just so damn sweet.

So how difficult was it to find? Were you on a waiting list or anything?

No waiting list. The dealer ordered 4 with no people waiting. I think people just do not know about it.

finally can see your pics! they were blocked at work, but cool Z again!

but, had one minor nitpick, why did Nissan put the rpm indicator in the middle?? i'm so used to the speedometer being in the middle, not the rpm indicator.

i got to research, but what are the hp/torque #'s on the nismo 350z?

I'm thinking they designed that witht the pure driving enthusiasts in mind... be it at the tracks or simply trying to out do another guy off the light (I try NOT use the "R" word), they probably figured looking down at the rpm gauge at the shortest/quickest glance (for shifting purposes) is more important then knowing how fast you're going... actually many sports cars have the tach in the center of the dash.

Yep, must be the case, because until I saw your pictures I didn't know the new Nismo had such big changes from the regular Z. I know the previous years were mainly just very small changes. Anyhow, if I had the money I'd be checking one out myself. Just looks killer.

If you have a video camera you should post a vid of the exhaust note. It seems everyone's curious how nice it sounds since the stock VQ sounds so beautiful and melodic.

thanks for the pics! probably the only time i'll ever see a ferrari that upclose.

honda needs to come out with a mugen powered s2000 sold from the honda dealer not aftermarket to match this hot nismo 350z. but, unfortunately they won't do it.

considering the most popular trim of 350Z cost around 30k.. this is a VERy very good deal for 38k.

Those wheels and bodykit alone with paint will probably cost over 8G....

cool pics pimpin, verrrry niiice (in borat voice). i had an 03 350z in your color, picked it up the first week it arrived in dealerships in summer of 03. upgraded for the rl but definitely miss the sportiness and handling. it was pretty jarring over potholes and i would imagine the tuned suspension of the nismo edition would be even more so. plus interior was kinda plasticky and meh but your interior shots show a significant upgrade from stock btw i got way more stares and compliments on my z compared to my rl if that's your cup of tea and with the unique exclusivity of the nismo models this should be even more so in the case. whether others love or hate the styling (i.e. rear facade), your ride is sure to elicit opinions either way and that in itself is ballin.

If the weather is good this weekend, there is a Z cruise and I will have my video cam inside the car mounted with me.
