Really impressed so far. Go drive one. I owned a e90 m3 and to me this car feels very similar. Interior and tech is well done. A lot of car for the $39k I paid. I'm sure a 6 spd with performance package would be awesome but I opted to for a more luxurious automatic. I wanted my wife to be able to enjoy this car also.

Was considering the ecoboostah but two reasons i didn't, sound or lack of it and I knew the urge to mod would be too strong.

I wake up every morning and want to quit my job. Every day.

I can afford the EB Mustang if I have to take a paycut. I can't with the V8.

That's why I don't want to spend $7k on the V8.

Edit: Sorry, this is achenator's thread not mine .. Apologies for shitting it up with my nonsense.

Damn! First AZer that bites the bullet and gets the new Mustang. Very nice achenator! I'm damn impressed and would love one.

Love the color, too. Probably my second favorite behind Ruby Red.

Beautiful car, excellent choice.

Wish I didn't live in such a snowy area or else I'd so get one (EcoBoost) as a DD.

That's the best picture I've seen of those wheels and honestly, that car needs 20s to look right ... Which is pretty crazy. Though I wonder if those 19s with spacers would look better too.

Lowered, the wheels would look plenty big.
I think Ford knocked this design out of the fucking park. The 2011 were a step in the right direction but this was the coupe de gras! Holy shit.

Congrats and congrats and also congratulations. I'm a HUGE fan and would love one myself. I would spring for the perf pack...

Yeah unfortunately you can't get the performance pack in an auto 5.0. Can only get it with a 6spd 5.0. But you can get it with an auto in the Ecoboost. Crazy. I had to make this car an automatic so my wife could drive it. She can barely drive a stick and I didn't want to buy another car she couldn't drive. Not so sure I would have gotten the PP if I could. This will be my DD and I want it to be relatively comfortable.

I may have bought the 20's if I could find one in stock, but I couldn't. Again,no big deal as the bigger sidewall may help the ride. Wanted more GT and less sport with this purchase.

I see the new Mustangs all over the place already. We can argue all day about how good a car it is, but they certainly hit a nerve with it.

People love it...they gave people in that range of the buying public exactly what they were looking for.

The GT-R: You know, I don't blame her. I never liked it.

I couldn't wait for somebody to call me and say that they had one for me to drive...it looked just absolutely awesome on paper and the motor journalists loved it to death.

But I did not like it at all.

Have you ever had to parallel park it?

Oh, my goodness, the noises it makes. LOL.... Sounds like a differential is going to fall out. For what the car does, it's really very cheap, and they just couldn't find a way to disguise at low speed the noise of all those gears and clutches working together.

I know they're not cheap, but when you consider what they do for that amount of money...they're good buys.

They're just not for old men who are beginning to require a measure of refinement in their lives.

:-)

Quick Reply: So my wife won't ride in the GT-R any more..
