Still have the G8 GT?
Did the Focus ever shit on you?
My buddies Focus had horrible issue with synchros.
G8 is gone after paintjob lifter failed and then tranny went fixed it and got rid of it.
focus i sold silver then got beautiful red EAP SVT and had it for over a year. Blew the engine... twice. Never had problem with transmission ever. Parted it out and made decent money on it still have ton of parts for it

my friend had great success beating new civics si in autox ad they're cars to beat. Got me into buying and love it people underestimate koreans, really nice car worth giving a try
if you go back page or two you'll see i had my car repainted, soon after than one of the lifter failed it was the 6.0 L76 engine the one with DOD. Lifter failed on it it had horrible knock to it. I was able to do all the work myself and replaced all the lifters with new cam. 6months later tranny wouldn't go into D, found low mileage tranny locally put it in and sold it to the guy in texas. He still has it

upgraded suspension Kia and got muffler deleted, rear swaybar not seen on the picture and rear engine mount. Looking for set of wheels 17x8 to accommodate 245 tire all around
debating on what wheels specs should i go with i found some RPF1 17x9 ET45 that may just fit with small camber, 245/40 tire all around for summer/autox, that would be really fat. Federal 595 RS RR tire has surprisingly good reviews and at $115 a tire it's almost 40% cheaper than the Hankook RS4 or Bridgestone RE71R, i really like that Forte comes with rolled fenders front and rear, have not decided on pads yet but fluid will be definitely changed before first event, Koni set on full stiff should be fun first autox in almost two weeks, finger crossed for decent weather
Full stiff doesn't cause massive understeer/oversteer in such tight cornered competition?
true but there is adjustment if i don't like it. I usually run semi stiff up front and full stiff in the rear, reason for full stiff is that i added swaybar to the rear which helps rotate the car.
Really interested in how the Kia does in AutoX. The Enkies will be nice. I found out the Atturo tires I’m running are actually manufactured by Federal Tire. I can attest to how good they are for the money. Great tires so far!
I do. And gears to finally take advantage of it. I haven’t been able to fully launch on them because it’s been cold and wet here, but just going 1/2 throttle from a dig they grip WAY better than the monster Nitto NT555 G2s I used to have.
Little update, Got the car tuned it is huge difference compared to stock - approx 60whp by Lap3 tune on a spare ECU - car rips now its definitely faster than friends '12 Golf R but huge problem is IAT getting as hot as 180 in traffic bigger intercooler or as my tune guy says meth injection which i am more inclined to do and run it untuned for sake of intake temps and cleaner intake valves
Autox has been some what good so far i do need a new tires - ran 245/40-17 front and 225 rear and car felt great only good for 3rd place but hey i consider myself a rookie still, so far that was best place i gotten other than that it was 3 x 4th and 1 x 5th
recently took my car to a dyno 230whp 273tq which is impressive for little 1.6
It needs bigger intercooler and maybe meth injection. It's a blast to drive otherwise tires and suspension really transformed the car, now that weather gets colder I really understand why they calling it boost weather. In sub 75s car is absolute rocket. Blew doors off recently doing 40 roll with current gen STI. Impressive really.
