Smoked my buddies M3 AGAIN !!

As you all know from my previous post I raced my buddies 98 auto m3 the day he got it and Smoked it no doubt. After that incident he went to auto authoriaty and got a aftermarket cat back exhaust and got his car rechipped.

We then met up again yesturday and did just one run from 0-80. We were cruising around springfield trying to both catch a red light. Finally we both came to a stop. He revved his engine giving me a look( NO chance) Ofcoure me and my babe wern't intemadated at all.

GREEN!!!

we both get almost a perfect launch and by the time I hit 1st gear's vtec range I was pulling off by a little then 6700-6800 (32hp boost from headers hehe) I pulled away some more. then top of 2nd gear around 70 i was so ahead I didn't want to continue so I just gave him the emergeny blinker.

"ring ring" My cell fone goes off.

"Man wait till I get my intake this week! where racing again"

"Aight man, what ever just call me when your ready to get smoked again!!!"

not telling him "I too" will be getting an intake soon.

Can't wait to see the look on his face when I beat him again.

To me, this sounds like a real race! A modded CL-S vs a faily stock auto M3. I wouldn't exactly expect a "smoke", but I would certainly expect the CL-S to prevail. An auto M3 isn't slow by any means, but I doubt it would have a chance against a 290hp CL-S.

IMHO

Good kill

I'll bet he wishes that he'd bought the manual version now!
How much are you beating him by?

to be honest he wasn't as far as a car lenght but his front end was still nowhere near my rear bumper. I know he was far back enough for me to see him in my rear view mirror in early 3rd gear, right before we quit.
