small update on my prelude.
hey everyone. been a minute.
trying the gold thing on my honda at the moment.
thoughts?, ideas.
they are a bit slim in the back so i will need some small spacers.
but overall looks. whatcha think. ( i can always count on AZ being blunt )
ps. the hood is brand new from honda, hence the primed black color. havent had a chance to take it to the shop just yet.

not many, i just took a few for now. i dont like taking pics of my unpainted hood
i can most definately take some more today/tomorrow.
a certain profile you'd like to see?
wheels are 18x8 with a very subtle +40 offset.
im gonna put 10mm spacers in the rear. front fit great

Looks really good with the gold. The spacers will definitely help in the back. Nice work!

when i got this one it had...
a fuxored hood
wheels that didnt fit.
driver headlight was yellow.
spoiler was held on by lock tite.
both cv joints were busted.
right side ball bearing worn out.
oil leak from the valve cover.
and seats that looked like a tiger played with them.
so far it has.
new hood.
new wheels.
replaced cv joints.
new headlight.
spoiler is installed properly.
new valve cover and seal.
all new black interior. (had tan).
and STILL a long way to go.
its a shame people let them get this way. it was always one of my fav. cars growing up and now i have the chance to make it a beautiful car. cant wait till its done.

only thing i can say about that is the car was in fact cheap. and a hot mess at that. everything i've done up to this point i can say i think made the car nicer from when i got it. but you guy's opinion matters and i appreciate it.
i wanted to put the wheels i had on my TL, on the lude. but i felt like i wanted something new.
if i change my feelings towards them later down the road i always have a set of SH wheels i can put on till i find something different.
but thanks for the input. all opinions are welcome.
my tl's wheels.

Looks great. Now all you need is a J series swap

Looks clean. I hear you guys on how difficult it is to find a clean 5G Prelude.... my cousin had one for years, a stock, 4AT, but clean Milano Red. Then her little sister inherited it, and by mostly no fault of her own it got trashed. It got hit-and-runned in the back bumper while she was at work, then another day she forgot to take off the headunit faceplate, and somebody broke in and took it. Months after that, someone hit her hard in the quarter panel and the car was undrivable.

BTW, the first car that I wanted to get once I got comfortable driving was this model 'Lude. Was never able to make a deal at the time, but it was one of my favorites, especially the Type-SH.
Every so often I look around to see if I can pick up a nice used one..

you find a way to swap it in and make it practical for daily driving (and do the swap for me). and im on board i'll even pay you 1k to do it.
to my knowledge i havent seen anyone who has done it... only heard stories of one guy, but no visual proof.
