I don't mind the Benz interior that much, its just that light grey/aluminum combo looks like complete shit.

Design wise its not very exciting, neither is the 3 series.

But I expect the fit/finish to be top notch.

Exterior wise, I think the C looks great......square in appearance how a Benz should look.

Unfortunately for the U.S., I doubt you're going to be able to get the AMG Sport package on a standard C. You'll have to get the C63 in order to get that.

They will offer a luxury edition and a sports edition here. But yeah, if you want anything AMG on the C-Class... you'll need to buy the actual C63 AMG which they're estimating for fall 2007..

I'd much rather have the pop-up on the Benz vs. the extra goofy ass lookin' binnacle of the Beemer. I own a Beemer now and will not buy a 5 series b/c of that fact alone. It looks waaaaaaaaaaaaay too fucked up to me.

Yeah, they'll offer an Avantgarde type package I would imagine. Like they did when the W211 E came out in 03.

But you're not going to be able to get the AMG kit on a standard C, as in the above photos.

Right, likely no AMG kit unless you get an AMG when it comes out in the US.

For everyone's reference... here is the Autoweek article regarding the C-Class...
