should i trade in my 06 AT TL for 09 honda fit manual or keep both?

hi i just recently got into moutain biking and everytime i go i get irritated with setting up the saris bike rack on the trunk of my tl and the rack stand scratching the car( happened one time so now i wrap the rubber stand with socks and we'll see if it'll prevent scratching). i really like the new fit sport(plays mp3, usb, spoiler, sporty look, manual transmission, fog light, DRL,cargo space enough to fit a bike with the front wheel off and bunch of other stuff...). i'm thinking about buying a new fit in cash but i don't know if i should keep the TL(paid cash for it new, more luxurious, faster, better sound, bluetooth, automatic , outdated exterior, smaller cargo, no mp3, some paint scratches, high mileage...) or sell it to private buyer and get cash for a perfornance car like a used 335i, m3, S5.... the TL has 59k miles on it so warranty is about to expire. i can affort to keep both but i feel guilty for having two cars during this economy although my income has grown since last year. emotionally i want a new fit for commuting and another fun car but logically i know i should just keep the TL LOL. any input is greatly appreciated

If you're doing well, keep the TL.

Trade in the Fit for a Legacy GT. AWD and the car can go everywhere you bike can go.

(what else would I suggest)?

i haven't pulled the trigger on a fit yet. just thinking about it. where can i get the roof rack like that? is it easy to put on and then take off when i don't need it? isn't legacy GT a 4 door sedan? i wanted the fit for extra cargo space. if the roof rack works well then i'll keep the TL

try a nice outdoor store or bike shop. The clips on the racks are custom made to fit each vehicle. Most people just leave them on their car as they are not THAT easy to remove and re-install. It can be done though. Be prepared as a nice 2 bike setup with nice mounts and locks for the racks and bikes can easily be $500+.

thanks for all the inputs. decided to loan the cash to a friend for his new business for 10% interest. gonna stick with the original plan and keep the TL til it dies. will be washing the crap out of it to keep it looking new so i won't be tempted to buy a new car. should be able to pay for the next car in cash by the time the TL retires......has anyone put more than 200k miles on the 04-08 TL?
