Thanks for the positive feedback guys.
That's a great compliment; thanks . I think I'm too attached to let go, unless a really attractive offer came along.
It's very similar to Rosewood, but this color is actually called Desert Mist Metallic and the paint code is YR-506M. It was only available with the Taupe (Type E) interior and was only offered on the Legend for two years (1994 and 1995).

It's amazing how Acura's designs are getting worse as time goes on.
Acura "hit their peek" long ago.

1st gen TL's had an even higher quality interior in some respects. A/B/C pillars were covered in velvet. Dash was one piece, softer plastic than the Legend. Interiors also age better. Center console is covered in soft/spongy plastic, instead of hard materials.
Style: Legend definitely looks more sporty, the TL was more subdued.

The acura legend was the car that inspired me to continue on with the acura brand and now i'm driving the TL. First i had a 91 legend coupe, then got a 94 legend gs. Both were awesome cars, and i miss the feeling of being in a coupe sometimes.
You are taking very good care of your car sir! continue to do so and it will keep on trucking.

God Damn, 16k in maintenance! That is some nice work going into it but so worth it as that car is immaculate! Kudos to you.
I hate to be the one to say it, but ever thought about getting some wheels for it? Car looks beautiful as is but would love to see some nice classy 18s or 19s on her.

you know 2 things that struck me:
1. is that the original owner you bought the Legend from in the pic of your maintenance history?
2. even more amazing is that you got one of the early builds of the 94 Legend coupe based on the vin #802 made of the 94 Legend. who says that the early builds have problems? this is a perfect example of how wrong that is!

I'll definately be in touch w/ you when I do the trip. I'm w/ you on the open road, it's amazing. As stated i've done cross country more then a few times, and it's always on EMPTY back roads and we usually take 2 weeks at a time to do it.
So Alaska is right up my league........and i'll be doing it in a GTO (that's why I bought the car, to do stuff like that)

luvs redheads!
well tyson is a stand up guy and true enthusiast at heart. I have met him in person and plan to meet him again in chattanooga, TN for NALM 08" at the dragon's tail.
I also ridden in this legend and it is perfect in every aspect.
It had the unfortunate yet "destined by fate" to hit a deer on a way to a meet, then hit another deer on the way back on the same section of road on the otherside of the car. so up till then...no accidents ever that i know of.
He also had it redone and re-appraised...i think.
anyways legends for the win!

I must say that your car looks very clean 4cruizn, I'm really impressed.
First time I saw this model was back Home as the Honda Legend Coupe in 1992. Man I really loved that car. Possibly one of the best cars that Honda has ever built.

hey 4cruzin just realized that you joined AZ way before I did man. But, you only have 54 posts? but, if I put 205,000 miles in 4.5 years I would hardly post on any site.
