What do I know? She responded. Can someone tell me if this person seems serious or a scam?

I thought the police comment would scare them off but they are still persuing. I replied and told her to call me to discuss further.

-Her email says "Branda" and she types her name "Brenda" hmmm

Hello Jim,

Thanks for the reply. I have forwarded your address to them and they have replied me with the cost of shipping/pick up from your location.. They insisted on me paying up front before they can set out for an inspection and shipment they require their fees paid via western union money transfer but there is no way i could get the money sent to them due to nature of my job. i will be adding the shipping agent's fees to the payment i will be sending to your paypal account to avoid any delays, once you have confirmed payment you will forward the agents fee via western union. Thanks I will be waiting for your PayPal email address so i can send the payment to your paypal account .Mrs. Brenda.

Oh they respond if you do.

Don't bother with police comments or any of that BS. As soon as they send you an email like the one above you simply reply with: "Thanks for your interest, however, this transaction is cash or guaranteed bank funds in person only... no shipping."

And that's it. After that they leave you alone. Trust me... you think it's funny now, but once your inbox starts filling up with that crap, it gets annoying. A simple note in the ad like my last reply stated and a response like the one I typed above to anyone who replies will get rid of them and allow you to find a real buyer.

^ I know. You're right. It's just amazing to me that not only are there people who do this for a living but there are people who actually fall for it.
