Sell car on ebay
To those of you who have success with this, you where cool with
giving them your checking account route and account number?
I know it's ebay and I understand the need for proof who you are
but is sentive info to give out.

I took a PayPal deposit of 500-Dollars immediately after the auction ended and then got certified funds a week before delivery.
I also had my bank contact the loan company and verify the account status.

So I guess you saying you are ok with giving your checking account info?
How long did you auction last and the whole transaction take? Was your buyer local?

Buyer was from Florida. He flew up and drove it home last weekend.

I sold my RX8 on eBay a little over a month ago. Buyer from FL.... paypal $500... then we agreed to do a wire transfer... but since they used the same bank, it was like an instant deposit.
Took the buyer to the house, gave her the keys... and she drove it home. About an hour when all was said an done.
TL is going on eBay next week.
