Saw brand new Smashed EVO 2night
Comin home from a club here in downtown San Jose, there was this brand bnew whiTe Evo that looks like it had taken a turnpike exit to hard and smashed into the wall. All the airbags were deployed, and the kids had to be under the age of 20. It seems that these EVO's are getting totaled left and right to unexperienced drivers.

Parents who buy those for their kids deserve everything they get IMO.

if the parents were smart, they would buy the evo and take the turbo off. leave the kid with nothing but handling and good brakes!
being realistic though, this car is obviously not for everyone. for some reason i think the STi will have better insurance rates, as an average older crowd seems to be driving them, whereas the evo is usually driven by a very young group.

on a side note, people need to relax and realize that they are not invincible and cars are unpredictable at speeds like that, if they were going that fast.

So you just proved you knew the answer but posted your comments anyway?
So you owned yourself
To me just sounded like he was not sure how old they were but guessed they were under 20. easy enough.

I doubt there are many 40y/o folks driving Evos and STis outside of WRC and Mitsu/Subaru sales folks. Chances are, they were at least under 30y/o.

^is that a statistic, i have seen plenty of wrx drivers that are definately older, and especially the station wagon ones.
sorry to hijack this thread. plain and simple, nice car gone down the drain.
