It is street legal. It is imported as a kit car, sans engine. When here, you get your choice of engines and gearboxes.

Quite the little sports car-a blast to drive.

I rode in one that looked EXACTLY like that while I was in London in 2003...it was an amazing car...handled well and is one of the quickest cars I've been in.

And it's not really a "race car". It is street legal too...

Is that the head unit on the passenger side? You'd need a remote to do anything useful with it, and any passenger of mine would be too busy hanging on for dear life to use it.
