There are some closer to home as well. It takes a little work but they are around. I came close to buying one about a month ago but I really will not drive it much. What happened to your '05?

MR1 - I live in the bay area. I'm not transporting a car to save $1000. Furthermore I want to test drive it.

IN the bay area $15.7 was the best price. It came with brand new tires and brakes. That's worth $1200 to me right there. I think your figures are off. eBay motors is a horrible place to determine car pricing and too many internet folks think they can land the 'perfect' s2k for $12k. It doesn't happen. I did my research, and it's impossible unless it's 1. the old ap1s or 2. It's been in an accident

FYI my car is $18.8 on KBB for retail. $15.1 for private sale. Factor in the $1200 in tires/brakes, I got the car for $14.5. I also bought it off a dealers lot and it had been thoroughly inspected. Find me a car for that money I can drive before I buy and came with a 2011 or 100k power train warranty?

Yup, that's right. New tires, new brakes and a power train warranty.

BTW - you realize your links are for auctions still in progress. They will all end higher. Man this is stupid.

Have fun with your TL and I'll have fun with my s2000.

My response was not to you but to oonowindoo!

I think your purchase was great and the car looks good. Didn't mean to confuse you and put you on the defensive. I do know what I served up were auctions on ebay and there are many better ways to buy cars. However, the car I almost purchased was on ebay but in Sacramento. Again, enjoy your new toy, great deal.

That's the same deal I got. But everything was original on my car and in perfect working order.

fuck i forgot! but who pays 1500. on s2ki they sell for as low as $600

if i really wanted to, i can sell my hardtop for an easy $2000, buy a soft top. have someone install it for round $200 and still be left with money for some nice aftermarket wheels.

in all truth tho, im always wanted to roll with the top down but, have only taken it off 2 times. i like the coupe look to it. from the looks it gets, so does everyone else out here.

hartop is lighter than the softop by a good margin. if i had both with 163lbs of torque maybe i wouldnt be able to get it moving!

oh, n CRS, dont have softops either but, they do have that nice toneu cover.

Just enjoy your car.

The point has been made, no good AP2's for less than 15K
